Where we are:
Start and finish at Field Farm, Bremhill, SN11 9HQ between Charlcutt & Bremhill - approx 5m E of Chippenham & 3m NW of Calne.

The following routes sign-posted with BLUE arrows can be downloaded - see above

ROUTE 1 A3102 From Lyneham - signs start at Goatacre. SATNAV users! Do not take the two short cuts in Goatacre. Keep on A3102 to the right turn at the bottom of hill.

ROUTE 2 A4 from Calne - signs start after roundabout leaving Calne. At Ratford the road is steep, twisty and narrow for about 2-300 yards.

ROUTE 3 A342 from Devizes - Signs start after Bromham and continue to the A4 Pewsham roundabout where A4 Bath traffic coming around Chippenham join. From Bromham going through Calne is a little shorter but too many large vehicles on Route 2 could result in problems. SATNAV users! Derry Hill has vicious traffic calming and you will not get through the Studley/Hazeland short cut.


ROUTES 4 (and 5) From M4 Junction 17. Route 5 is longer but it avoids a 12ft bridge on Route 4.

ROUTES 6 (and 5) From B4069 - Signs start Christian Malford. Route 6 is shorter but has a 12ft low bridge. SATNAV users! From Route 5 there is a short cut up Charlcutt Hill but it is 1 in 5 blind after a corner and we are trying to keep it clear for local traffic.


On Routes 4, 5 and 6 after East Tytherton the long hill gets steeper - select low gear in good time.
















Well sign-posted 6 & 12 mile courses through beautiful countryside with Optional Jumps and Refreshments en-route.

Start any time between 10:00am and 1.30pm; last registration at 1.15pm. 
Start and finish at Field Farm, Bremhill, SN11 9HQ between Charlcutt & Bremhill - approx 5m E of Chippenham & 3m NW of Calne.

The ride will be signposted from the M4 J17, and the A4 and B4069 out of Chippenham (follow the blue arrows).  Please note that there are bridge height limits of 12'3" if the ride is approached through the villages of Christian Malford or Langley Burrell.

Beneficiaries

The Tytherton Fun Ride is an annual event, held since 1986 to support local organisations.  Each year the proceeds of the Ride are divided between the Churches and Village Halls of Bremhill, Foxham, Tytherton Lucas and East Tytherton; Christian Malford Primary School and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal.
